Your mission

To keep up the market demand we are looking for talented people to extent our sales force. As a Sales Solution Engineer you will be working closely with our Business Development Managers and you will be responsible for the technical part of our offerings. You will support the Business Development Manager in customer meetings and evaluate requests. To make sure we are able to execute the request you will be a key person to get internally alignment with the various departments involved.
Based upon the evaluation you are responsible for estimating the costs of our solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Building up and maintaining relationships with the customer.
  • Responsible to understand and translate customers’ requests into solutions and offers.
  • Responsible for estimation of the investment and preparing full quotation.
  • Focus on quality, costs and progress of our offerings.
  • Able to explain, influence and guide the sales tactics with the BDM’s and to translate those into actions.
  • Able to identify risks and proposes mitigation plans.
  • Eager to improve our sales offerings

Qualification and skills

knowledgeable in logistic automation, with a drive to improve and innovate. Looks beyond the borders of own function and department.

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar;
  • 3+ years’ experience in sales solution engineering and commercial environment;
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience;
  • Understands sales tactics and enjoys a commercial environment, eager to win;
  • Team player;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop customized solutions;
  • Flexibility to travel to meet customers, attend events or conferences;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, German is a plus.
