Amsterdam, the Netherlands – 6th of November 2019 – Smart Robotics, a leading developer of pick & place solutions has announced today that it has secured a substantial investment to accelerate product roll-out in a round led by Dutch high-tech venture capital fund Innovation Industries and Mirai Creation Fund || backed by Toyota Motor Corporation as a key limited partner.
Smart Robotics’ AI-based software platform enables the rapid deployment of pick & place solutions in markets such as e-Commerce, Pharma and Food. Through Smart Robotics’ software platform, their pick & place solutions can be easily configured and programming is no longer required. As a result, the system can be set-up in a matter of minutes and can be easily reconfigured in the field if required. The investment will be used to accelerate the roll-out of Smart Robotics’ palletizing and item picking applications as well as for the development of new software applications.
